The Long Branch Festival was a week-long celebration of the Long Branch neighborhood. My role was as project manager for this event, working with the Maryland Housing Partnership, local businesses, community advocacy groups, local restaurants and M-NCPPC to create a weeklong festival to promote the vibrancy and potential of Long Branch and educate the public about the recently approved Long Branch Sector Plan, which proposes new, mixed use development around the future Purple Line station, and community parks, plazas, and trails.
