As a part of the Forest Glen-Montgomery Hills Sector Plan update, the planning team studied a 3 acre right-of-way owned by SHA. The site, located at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and 16th Street, is being considered for a potential park space.   The concept sketch, done quickly over an aerial photo of the existing site, includes playing fields, pavilions, a community garden, a dog park, a bike trail, a bike share and a pedestrian connection linking two sections Luzerne Avenue across Georgia Avenue.
These before and after photorealistic simulations where done to illustrate to the Planning Board and concerned citizens the visual effect of proposed heights viewed from Georgia Avenue and from the surrounding single family neighborhood.

For the Forest Glen-Montgomery Hills Sector Plan update, the task was preparing density studies for the parking lot at the Forest Glen Metro Station. These included several options for Floor Area Ratio build-out and modelling those options in Sketchup to provide WMATA and the neighboring community a feel for what different levels of development might look like.
